THREE YOUNG MEN

Once upon a time were 3 young men living with their parents. The oldest son’s name was John, the next one’s name was Jack and the youngest’s was Sam. They led the easy life, without taking into account their mother’s nonstop nagging about getting a job and founding their own house.
John and Jack were already on the dole while Sam was about to get the sack. Even though they didn’t mind it at all.

One morning their parents’ quarrelling was loud enough for even the neighbors to hear. They had no other choice but to wash their faces, get dressed and go get breakfast. That was when the big decision was announced: ALL THREE HAD TO FIND A JOB AND A HOUSE TO LIVE IN, BECAUSE THEY WERE OLD ENOUGH TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES, AND THAT ALSO ONLY POCKET  MONEY WOULD BE GIVEN TO THEM. Upon hearing that John was excited, thinking about it as an adventure, Jack was thoughtful and young Sam was horrified but they knew their parents weren’t joking.
John was the first one to find a both a job and a house while also making a bank account. His broker had suggested a flat in a block of flats but unfortunately it was quite too expensive for him as he was used to his old life so the broker had to pay him another visit warning him that if the situation continued like this he’d have to move out. Crashing his dreams of proving himself to his parents he accepted reality.
Next one was Jack. He went to the same broker, without of course him knowing. The house he got was a bit small but at least it had a back yard. The job he’d found was just a part time while he was still looking for a proper one. One month went by, and then the second one and he realized that he was out of his depth paying both the rent, his bills and buying food to eat in order not to starve to death so the broker had to pay him a visit too. He was disappointed too but he was expecting it.
Next in line was Sam. The youngest of them all! Following a different strategy from his brothers’ he first found a job and then went to the broker (the same one, as he was the only one around) for the house. His was the best one. It was a lovely flat in the centre of the city with a great view and good security. His salary was good and he didn’t waste any money as he only bought the necessary. The broker was fascinated and realized there was no need to visit him too.
When John and Jack found out they went to live with Sam, spoiling his fantasy of living a good life away from his spender brothers. Living with them Sam’s life turned into a nightmare! As John’s salary wasn’t very high and Jack was still working part-time it begun to be impossible for little Sam to look after them and pay for their expenses. Then the broker came again and warn them. Sam was disappointed on his brothers just as much as their parents were so he had to do something. He set new rules. First Jack would have to find a proper job and with his help he did. John would have to stop wasting so much money around and with both his brother’s help he did.
Sam was pleased with the things he managed to pull off and he received the broker’s congratulations. Since they are living all three together!
