I hate the economic crisis so much! There aren’t any advantages, but there worst disadvantage of all is that we don’t have much money, we can’t live happily and many people don’t have houses to live. I want really some things so much (not everything is expensive), for example, I want a new bike.

Children in the economic crisis-Kasapidis Charalabos

Economic crisis is a phenomenon that has appeared in our lives in the recent years and has had some serious effects on it. A disadvantage of this effect is poverty which is growing day by day.
However, economic crisis has made people think better how to spend their money.
In conclusion, economic crisis has affected our lives in many different ways and we will have to deal with it until it’s over.

In my opinion the economic crisis is really bad because many people of our parliament spend the money that we paid them for their amusement without thinking of the people.

The children of my age try not to stress their parents for something they want so much like games. They understand that the living conditions in the crisis are difficult. However there are some children who do not under stand that things are difficult and they want everything. Of course they are not to be blamed, but it’s their parent’s fault who have spoilt them.

Children shouldn’t pass through the economic crisis because it can cause them psychological problems or change their habits to the worst. It can also cause them stress for the future, for example stress for the future of the jobs of their parents. In this case parents have the responsibility for the children not to take this matter so seriously.

These days we have the economic crisis in front of us. Parents should protect their children from not feeling sad in the economic crisis. Nevertheless children of my age start to learn and understand, so they try not to spend so much money.

Once upon a time I had a fried whose parents had lost their jobs. I noticed that the kid was watching his parents who were sad and have some fun and he agreed.

Bob is a child in the economic crisis. It’s very difficult to understand it. His parents are in a more difficult situation. They haven’t got any more money, his mother can’t cook anything and his father is looking for a job for days, but nothing.

My friend Peter lives in the economic crisis with his family. I mean that his parents have no job. He doesn’t have any friends and all the class are laughing at him. One day his father was walking in the street and found a cheque with a lot of money and then Peter’s life changed for ever.

My name is Kostas. I’m 10 years old. I live in Thessaloniki. Six months ago my father lost his job. Because of this fact we couldn’t have our every day lunch at school. We did not have enough money to buy toys. We did not have enough money to buy clothes. We could barely pay our bills and eat a poor meal. Thanks to my mum’s job life is very tough, but we will make it.

Once upon a time there was a rich family. The family had a little girl whom they loved very much and bought everything for her. When the economic crisis came her parents were very sad because they didn’t have much money to pay for everything she wanted and they had to start selling her toys, their furniture later and at the end even their house…

Once upon a time there was a family who lived in a big city. This family had got one child. The dad worked in a big factory. One day the factory closed and the dad lost his job. So they decided to leave the big city and they went to live in a small village in the countryside. In this village the children had grown up in a different way.

Robin Hood

I wish there was someone like Robin Hood in my time. Because of the crisis we live in, Robin Hood would help the poor and all these people who don’t have food or clothes. It would take it from the rich and give it to everyone who needed it. He would fight the evil and make nice people happy. Kakamoukas Antonis

For many countries the economics are going well but you can’t say that for  all the countries. Let’s take for example Greece. Greece is a country with many gifts such as the archaeologikal sites, the history, the landscape and many others. But some people are going to destroy Greece with their actions . These people are the  members of the Parliament.

These days the economic crisis has caused many problems. One of the most important is unemployment which creates enormous economic problems in people’s lives. Some children work to help their parents. This is not correct because the children should be going to school.

Children today have got many problems because of the economic crisis, especially in our country where the problems are big. Many parents lose their jobs or earn less money. This affects the children in many ways. They can’t buy many clothes or toys and sometimes even food. Many children can’t have extra activities or learn a foreign language. For this reason, parents are very sad, because they can’t offer their children all they need.

In our days many people in Greece face the problem of the crisis. Many people lose their jobs, so they don’t meet the needs of the family. I believe that the life of some children has changed, but of other it hasn’t. I, personally, am not affected by the crisis, because I do all the activities that I used to do in the past. Unfortunately, many kids do not have to eat and I feel sick for this. That’s why people need to help each other!

Our country like other countries of the world was hit by the global financial crisis. We hear this every day on the TV. We, the children, even if we do not understand clearly what does this mean, we can see changes in the life of our family or in our neighborhoods. Almost all parents try not to let their children feel scared or insecure, even if they have problems with their job or with money.

Children in the economic crisis-Ratsikas Thanasis

Since 2010 many people in Greece have no money, no food and many more things. This is the financial crisis. People don’t have jobs, houses.. They live in the streets and they ask others to help them by giving them some money to buy some bread, milk, meat.

In Greece many kids these days don’t have enough food, clothes and shoes. They don’t have a house. They have not the possibility to study. I feel sad for these kids.

The economic crisis in Greece brings poverty and unemployment. Young people go abroad to find a job. In my family, my father says that we should not spend much money. I hope that the economic crisis will pass soon!

Children haven’t got much money because their parents haven’t got jobs and money too. The children shouldn’t want too many things. In Greece most people don’t have money because they don’t have jobs. The most usual job in Greece is waiter in a cafeteria. BUT I like Greece with its bad and good things!!!!!

I am going to tell you a recent terrible story and I am sure it will move you. A woman lived in her house with her two daughters. Their family was poor and the mother could not feed the daughters. She was very sad. She must unfortunately give her daughters to the establishment. The daughters were sad too, but the youngest was the saddest!

Ann's Christmas

Ann and her mother lived in a small unattractive cottage. It was party time. Christmas was so close, and so was her birthday. Ann wished she could get a new dress with frills and lace as a wonderful Christmas gift. All her friends would be getting new frocks. But Ann did not want to ask her Mom for a new dress. She knew how hard her mom worked to make both ends meet. Maybe she could make a wish and maybe Santa Claus would come!!!

TWETTY CHRISTMAS

Once upon a time there was Tweety. He was going to the sea because he wanted to feed some fish. While he was walking, he heard a good melody. He wanted to find out where it comes from so he took another road. Suddenly, he was in a forest! He was trying to discover what was making this music, when he saw a small bird! The bird was singing very nice and was very beautiful. Tweety went next to the bird and sat there. He smiled to the bird and they became friends. Tweety climbed up a tree and gave Pisy (the bird) two apples. They were singing and eating for many hours. They were so happy together that they decided to get married! They made a house on the tree and they lived happily ever after.

THE DOG & THE CAT

Once upon a time there was a lady that lost her dog. While she was looking for her dog, she saw a cat in the neighbourhood that was very beautiful and cute. The lady liked the cat very much. They became friends and she named her Butterfly. Then, the lady and the Butterfly started seeking for the dog. The dog was in a neighbour’s house. The neighbour had stolen the dog, but the dog was sad there. So he was barking all day long. The cat listened to the dog’s barks and helped the lady find him. The lady called the police. The police arrested him and the woman was full of joy! She now has both the cat and the dog and they live happily all together!

THE WOLF & THE THREE PIGS

Once upon a time there were three pigs that were walking in the forest. Suddenly, they heard a wolf sleeping and snoring. The pigs decided to scare the wolf, so they started shouting and shouting. They did this for a long time until the wolf woke up. He was very annoyed, so we went away from the forest. The pigs were happy but then they realized that they didn’t have anything to play with. So they decided to find the wolf and ask him to go back to the forest. The wolf answered “yes” because he was missing his life in the forest too. So he returned and they lived happily ever after.

CHRISTMAS

I like Christmas because it’s the best celebration in the world. At Christmas I usually go to my village with my parents and my brother and we have a great time! I sing with my friends all around the houses in the neighborhood and we make money. My mum is cooking delicious food and sweets and we have lunch with my grandparents. Christmas is a family celebration which all the children like!!!

MY FAVOURITE SEASON

Christmas is my favourite season because we have lots of candies, sweets, cakes and melomakarona at home every day. I like decorating the Christmas tree with my mother and prepare the cake for the New Year ’s Eve! But the best part of Christmas holidays is that we don’t go to school and have time to play and have fun!!!!!!!!
